Alex Fielding

physiotherapist, chiropractor

Alex Fielding

Alex has spent over 10 years of university training to be one of the few dual qualified Physiotherapists and Chiropractors in Australia and is the co-owner of Tangram Health. He has significant experience with the management of sports injury and performance and is currently the Team Physiotherapist for the NSW Field Hockey team. He is also studying and aiming to complete his Masters of Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy in 2024.

Alex is well adept at managing injuries across multiple sports at all levels, be it with the local rugby union team Redfield Old Boys rugby as their head physio for the last 10 years, being part of Australian championship winning hockey teams or managing powerlifters to help them succeed at the commonwealth championships and on the world stage.

Clinically Alex takes an empathetic and pragmatic approach to your injury with a particular focus on how it impacts activities that are important to you and developing a plan to get back into the things you love, be it being able to pick up the grandchildren, or  competing at the next world championships.

Outside of work you’ll find Alex spending time with his wife and young family or hurtling down a dirt trail somewhere on his mountain bike somewhere.

Alex  now consults at Willoughby Health, offering his Physiotherapy and Chiropractic services to the Willoughby, Chatswood, Artarmon, Roseville, Castlecrag, Castle Cove, Middle Cove, Lane Cove, Naremburn, Cammeray, St Leonards, and Crows Nest communities.
